Fresh water pump replacement

When winterizing my coach I discovered a loose screw on the Shurflo diaphragm. No big deal I thought, just re tighten. It would not take any tightening.  I then saw the next screw vibrating and backing out, it would not tighten either.
I have decided to replace the pump.
Whats the current go to fresh water pump?
I removed the accumulator years ago and don't miss it.

Those tanks sure get in the way, don't they? Some pumps pulse more than others so that has to be tank into consideration if you don't have a tank. Ours makes a pulsing noise as it runs. I like that as I don't forget to turn it off at night or leaving the coach. Others like a pump without any noise. Lots of pumps with reviews to mull over here: Amazon.com: rv water pump

J B Weld is perfect for this kind of repair. Mix, apply and 24 later, drill a pilot hole and use a stainless self tapper to make new threads.

Lon, I would buy a new shurflo pump but repair the existing one. Epoxy and redrilled holes as Pierce said. Use it for a back up pump.

Our coach had a Shurflo 5700 without an accumulator tank when we bought it last fall, being new RV'ers we didn't know if it was good or bad, it didn't pulsate and had plenty of pressure, I did think it was a tad bit loud. The 5700 was discontinued several years ago and had a reputation of being of poor quality. The 5700 started "acting up", after research I went with the Shurflo 4008, it pulsated at low pressure and even high pressure it hot water was involved. I added a 2gal accumulator and all problems went away, we now can use very low pressure, the other benefit with the tank is small amounts of water can be used without the pump coming on. Without the accumulator tank I would not recommend the 4008, just my opinion.
