VMSpc Fuel Temperature Gauge

I added a fuel temperature gauge to my VMSpc display, but it is apparently not receiving any data from the engine.  My 1999 coach has the Cummins M11 engine.  I wonder if it does not actually have a fuel temp sensor.  Has anyone else with this engine run into this?

Thanks

I haven't seen any sensor on the fuel system of my coach, same year and engine.

None shown on engine.  Maybe add one to the tank as the fuel cools the head and ECU then returns to the tank.

If your engine ECU doesn't see one then it will not be reported.  Use the PID sniffer to see it VMSpc sees one.  If hot then addins a fuel temp gauge will not show.

2 questions while we are on this subject.. ok maybe 3

1) I did the rear brakes and have an ABS light.. though it would show the code? Thinking it is the sensor (adjustment)
2) The rooster is back and cant remember how to turn it off Cockle doodle Dooooooo
3) when is the TST wheel pressure programming coming? (if its not out yet)?

Thanks Roger.

All the wheels have an ABS sensor otherwise the system wouldn't work.

Well that complicates things... actually did front and back brakes.. Grrr.. wonder if someone can plug into it to show where the issue is.

TST TPMS integration. Well it is there in beta versions but the hardware side of it is not there yet at last word.  It is going to be more complicated than just connecting your sensors. Sounds like you will need a different receiver that integrates signals with the JIB and then to VMSpc.  My suggestion is to just use TST TPMS as is.  It really uses a lot of screen real estate to make the display, something not always easily available.  An the stand alone TST display can be on all the time if you want to watch for tire issues.  Probably don't want to leave your PC o; all the time to accomplish the same.  The morning you are leaving is a bad time to discover a tire issue.  Stay tuned.

I have no idea about ABS codes.

This is from Silverleaf.  Fuel Temp is engine dependent.

Craneman my understanding is that if a wheel is out the other three still work.

Obviously without that wheels input to the system.  Degraded

The other 3 would still work, but with a bad or missing rear the coach would pull to the side of the bad or missing rear in a true lock up situation.
