Taking out wood floor in kitchen atea

As we are redoing our floor here is a picture of being halfway done.
Total hours on this alone was 5.
The metal down the center made it a lot easier
The sheet metal was not glued to the plywood.
So I made a path right down the center with a large crow bar and basically each side came loose as one big piece. Along the edges there was no sheet metal. That was the tough part.  Very slow.
I think all in all it took a little less than 20 hrs in removing carpet and padding and staples and furniture.
Now we are ready for our guy to lay the floor.

Ditto, as I used a big heavy pry bar and it made getting that metal and wood up easier. Cannot believe taking it up almost 11 yrs ago as it was done the day after driving our new coach to us from  Costa Mesa  to home.
I put tile down  after a new subfloor was added. Tile is still perfect and actually just yesterday scrubbed the grout and it looks like the day I laid it.
Memories of the start of many changes.
