50 and 30 amp plugin at home help

Going to wire in a 50 amp and 30 amp at home for friends when visiting. I'm having a brain fart, It's a 220 volt, standard 50 amp breaker correct? What about the 30 amp?

Single breaker 120 volt but it is an RV style plug not a dryer type

Both use RV specific receptacles.  A circuit breaker or disconnect at the receptacle or nearby is a good idea and may be required by code. If the circuit breaker is at the panel you can use an inexpensive disconnect or switch at the RV receptacle.

50 amp:  Two hots, neutral and ground (same as house type 50 amp). Yes 240 VAC.

30 amp: ONE hot, neutral and ground (NOT the same as dryer or stove 30 amp which is 240 VAC).

50amp 2 pole breaker 6-8 gauge copper, red and black hots, white neutral, 10 g green ground. 30amp single pole breaker, # 10 wire black hot, white neutral, green ground. Th 50 amp is 220 between the red and black 120 v between the white or green and hot. 30 amp is ONE hot black, hence the the single pole breaker. Be careful and don't get the hots and neutrals crossed. Generally on the devices the the gold color screws are hots, silver is neutral, of course green is ground.

Not quite right. The 30 Amp, 125 Volt receptacle is an RV-specific receptacle, but the 50 Amp, 250 Volt receptacle is the same type used for 4-wire range connections.

Be sure you get a NEMA 14-50R for a 50 amp connection for an RV.    Outside you need a rain proof enclosure. Connecticut Electric CESMPS54HR Connecticut Ps-54-Hr Weatherproof Power...
