Under Reach Tow for 2007 Nimbus 336

Hi there,  Unfortunately we are on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck.  We have the instructions for towing our coach, just wanted to know if there is anything else we can prepare while we wait for the truck.

In GA on HWY 1 South of Lyons on our way to Stephens Truck Center

One thing to make sure of. And that is that the tow truck tech disconnects the prop shaft.

And a little praying never hurts.

Much better to leave the driveshaft in place and pull the axle shafts instead. We have plastic covers for the axle openings in case they're needed.

In addition to others comments, the towing section in my Foretravel manual mentions:
1. "airbag's will not inflate as long as the ignition key is in the OFF position." Turn ignition key to ON position.
2. "after general preparation for towing and drive train components are disconnected, do not tow at speeds over 15 mph."

Quick ? Where did your tow driver connect the air to? Our driver connected to the tank that operates the step.

Hope you got it towed ok.  Sorry to hear of problem  I thought you would be able to drive the 30 miles to repair shop?  What is the problem with engine?

So when we were driving the rig to the shop the smoke coming out of the exhaust went blackish blue and Mike experienced significant power difference.  To be safe we had it towed.

What we know now is the issue is a sensor that has been added - it's a Cummings OEM but they say they didn't add it and Foretravel also says they did not add either.  We will post a picture shortly to see if anybody has experienced this.
