Re: Onan 7.5 GenSet Reply #4 – April 14, 2020, 06:28:53 pm You should be able to open that and drain your oil on a pan. Quote Selected
Re: Onan 7.5 GenSet Reply #5 – April 14, 2020, 06:36:09 pm My 7.5 had a rubber hose attached that you could turn toward a pan but I see no hose on that one so I suspect he will need to either add one or do as I mentioned to keep the oil from making a mess in the belly pan. Quote Selected 1 Likes

Re: Onan 7.5 GenSet Reply #7 – April 14, 2020, 07:09:05 pm Get a quick drain so you only have to push on a plastic/rubber hose. Use a vacuum cleaner on the oil fill to create negative pressure and you won't have to wait until you change oil to install the quick drain.Pierce Quote Selected 1 Likes

Re: Onan 7.5 GenSet Reply #11 – April 14, 2020, 09:12:13 pm Yes on degreaser and water just don't get water into the generator end of the unit.. I don't use a pressure washer, you can get it clean without the pressures..Best to use a brush while degreasing and cleaning then just a stream of water from a hose will clean it up nicely.
