Windscreen wipers on my 1990 villa
Hya all again, just finished putting new wiper blades on again, both motors still seem to work, passenger side works fine fitted the arms almost to bottom of screen and when I turn it on goes up and down as it should and when I turn them off they fall to rest exactly where I set them, problem with drivers side I set the blades exactly the same as passenger side only when they go up and down it goes too far down below the screen but when I turn them off they fall to rest in the same position as I set them, I've took it off and raised it up a couple of inches, then I turn the wipers on again and they go up and down OK, but when I turn it off, it then falls to rest too high up the screen, so I'm a bit baffled, I went outside grabbed hold of the arm and was able to pull it down manually to the proper rest position, but there is obviously something wrong with the motor I think, is there some kind of adjustment on the motor, its so wierd, or is the motor no good anymore, if so any one let me know of a good supplier of wiper motors, its probably been 9 years since I last had the vehicle on the road, and they were working fine the last time I used them, thanks kev
