Re: Looking to purchase FT Reply #25 – June 10, 2020, 12:49:47 pm My toad is a 2006 Acura MDX. The last year they were towable. I'm very happy with it. Pulled it to Alaska last year on the Motorcade. Quote Selected
Re: Looking to purchase FT Reply #26 – June 10, 2020, 12:56:46 pm I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee awd, of course I can not pull it. It runs good, no problem. I'll look for a Saturn VUE, Honda c-RV, 2000 Cherokee or a grand Cherokee. Quote Selected

Re: Looking to purchase FT Reply #33 – June 11, 2020, 03:52:01 am Is there a comparison chart for the various models, U270 U295 and U320? I did see one somewhere but can't find it now. I'm looking at the 2000, 2001 and 2002 years. Quote Selected

Re: Looking to purchase FT Reply #35 – June 11, 2020, 07:52:46 am Thanks but I did see and print these. But they don't do a side by side comparison of the three models, 270, 295 and 320. I would have create my own comparison chart. Quote Selected
Re: Looking to purchase FT Reply #36 – June 11, 2020, 08:07:13 am Keep in mind that customer requests on different models will put options for higher end coach on a lower end model. Many members have coaches with options that aren't listed as factory that were installed at the factory. You will have to talk to sellers of models you start looking at. Quote Selected
Re: Looking to purchase FT Reply #37 – June 11, 2020, 10:47:55 am Many coaches were custom builds. The model number is only a starting point. If you want slides, consider a 2003-2004, the slide mechanism was much improved in 2003 over earlier years. Quote Selected
Re: Looking to purchase FT Reply #38 – June 11, 2020, 01:05:59 pm I am not sure "much improved" is quite right, it is different. Likely better than the "train" mechanism used in 2002. The A frame LR mechanism in my 2001 is working flawlessly. The LR mechanism in the 2003 and later uses more floor space and much more interior volume especially when retracted than the ones in the 99 to 01 coaches. The 03 and later LR slides have smaller end windows and bigger slide cabinets but the side window shade boxes extend up into the cabinet interiors. None of this is better or worse just different. These are details you need to see for yourself to help decide what works best for you. Quote Selected 1 Likes
