Hydraulic pump

Does anyone know if the shaft is tapered or straight, or have a picture of the shaft on the hydraulic pump for a 98-01 295

Ours is straight with a collar that can be loosened so the pulley can be moved in and out to correct for a belt alignment problem.

Bruce,

You may have thanked me too soon as ours is a 1993 and could be different. Check my old posts for photos of the pump pulley and compare yours. Or I can shoot another today as the coach is right out side.

I can supply photos of the pulley on my hydraulic pump - don't know if that will Help Bruce.

My old Vickers V10 pump rebuild thread has a few photos of the pulley attachment method.  My V10 pump has a straight shaft with a key.
The 2-piece pulley locates on the key and is tightened down with 4 bolts to grip the shaft.

There is no tag on my pump, just trying to find a actual model number on the pump ( not a Foretravel number) 41188 appears to be a FT number. It is a Saur Sunstrand pump. Unfortunately we are on the road, if I had the correct numbers I might be able to avoid sitting somewhere for a month to get a pump rebuilt.

PMed you my number. I'm at MOT right now for service and a lucky editor replacement. I'll check with Risch and guys here, and look at mine. Someone else here with a '98 we can easily check too.

Hope I can do something to help!
