Waterproofed Awnings

Our 99 U270 has the original awnings, in good condition and not leaking. Resealed them last week end with 303 FABRIC GUARD as recommended by Sunbrella and  Zip Dee.
Coated all 4 smaller awn Bags and the main awning using a 5" fluffy roller for maximum saturation and a 2" pant brush on the canvas key that attaches the awning to the coach. Used just over 1.5 gallons at $86 a gallon.

Where the water did not penetrate the fabric in a rain it now beads on the fabric, painting it on took about 4 hours, scrubbing then absolutely spotless clean took hours using a scrubbing brush and 303 MULTI-SURFACE cleaner.

Used nearly 3/4 gallon in a spray bottle, and I thought the awnings were spotless clean before I began scrubbing!

I used to use 303 in a gallon sized garden sprayer. Only thing I used that sprayer for. I did all the awnings, outside chairs and American flag. Did them all about once a year and had no fading and water didn't soak through. Great product and easier application than brushing or rolling.
