Fuel Lines Availability

Just checking to see if anybody in Texas, preferably around the Houston Metro Area, knows a good place to get new fuel lines?  I know Foretravel has them in stock, but was wondering if there was somewhere that sells them at a better price than FT?

Order a roll online. Cheaper and you can get it in a couple of days.

About two years ago, I had to order from three sources to get what I needed.  You might do business with boat or fishery suppliers.

When I did my fuel lines I just went to Newline hose and fittings and asked for fuel line.

Hi Bruce,
You may have read some of the threads on replacing the fuel lines and they say to reuse the old fittings.
Take a word of advice DO NOT reuse the old fittings, even trying to be careful cutting off the old hose you will score the barbs and potentially create an issue latter with air getting in the lines....that cost me thousands of dollars between getting someone out where I was to start the engine. Got to MOT and found the slightest score on the old fittings was the culprit and of course it was the supply fitting off the tank, so had to pull it again and replace the old fittings with new ones. Believe me, buy new fittings when doing the fuel lines and add hose clamps to make sure they stay leak free.

Many of the Marine supply places will after you look and place in basket but do not buy. Will then offer free shipping and a discount. In looking at past sites. These deals are fleeting. Oil = fuel lines, oil = diesel fuel cost, covid = supply chain and human issues. You will require 3 sizes of fuel line. Rolls are 50' uncut. You have 36' coach.  The excess hose should allow for movement and placement of any filter systems, lift pumps. Very important fuel cooler systems you might want to place/acquire.
Left over lengths are in demand. So save, measure and market.
You may save on Aqua hot and generator length. Remember!! 2 trips of line for fuel and fuel return on engine.
When you pull the fuel line out. Great time to pull spare wire or antenna wire or possible rear camera wire.
Some have used sleeves on new fuel lines with good results. Lines will have a amount of spare line on current in place lines.

I used Trident A1 15 barrier hose. Easy to work with, ordered 50' boxes. My 1999 295 has 5/8 feed, 1/2 return, 3/8 generator. I reused the old fittings, just be careful and don't scratch them removing them. Trident doesn't recommend push loc fittings, but they work just fine, no hose clamps though.

What they did not have amazon had for the same price.
My last box as I ran short on 3/8 , was from my local Marina.
MIne  also was 5/8 for the engine suction side, 1/2 engine return, 3/8 for Gen and Aquahot.
