SS exhaust tip

Our stainless steel exhaust tip is not in great shape and I could not find replacement info in old discussions.
Anyone replaced one recently - 99 U270, 8.3 Cummins with a 5" pipe, would be great if you can steer me in the right direction
Thanks

Beware, I had to modify the downturn as it was blowing too much dust when backing out my driveway.

I installed this same one. I second craneman's admonition about the dust. He or another forum member warned me; should have taken heed. It's brutal back there on dry dusty roads. When we get back from this trip I'm replacing it or modifying it as craneman did.

I used a 4" cut off disc and rotated it.

Got the new tip and despite a lot of effort it is still where it has been for the last 21 years!
Should I try heating the tip close to the joint?
Any suggestions on how to break it free?

If the tip is depressed where the clamp was heat there first.

To remove the tip I had to cut it where the exhaust pipe ends, then cross cut that to loosen the "collar" and off it came.
The replacements that are available do not have tha same angle as the original which uses the angle to center the pipe in the hole n the bodywork.
To get it centered I had to cut off just over 1.5" of the exhaust pipe and had no choice but to turn the tip at an angle to get it centered: which was perfect.
