Reply #26 – August 20, 2020, 06:48:07 pm My soft start update,I have been running both A/C with the soft starts installed on 30 amps for the last 4 hours and the 30 amp breaker hasn't tripped. Last night I had one A/C, water heater on I turned the microwave on for 10 minutes and tripped the 30 amp breaker. I am running both A/C's, refrigerator, and 43 inch TV. I am impressed. The A/C's have cycled on and off several times during this test. I have not noticed if both have tried to start at the same time.The temperature is only 83 degrees outside so I don't know what will happen in higher temps, and no I am not wanting to find out till I have too.
