VMSpc Display Information

On a previous thread dealing with the Blue Fire monitoring system there was mention of "torque converter lock-up" information.  The post was not definitive that such information was actually available but left open the possibility.

My question is, with my VMSpc system, is such information actually available.  If so, what would be the PID number to access it.

If this information is, in fact, available it would be a very nice nugget of info to have on my display.

Thanks

On a 1993 Newell with 8v92 and the Allison HT740 transmission I had a separate display on the dash which showed gear selected and gear attained AND whether it was in lockup or not.  So that info is available just not sure if VMSpc will see it or not.  Use the PID sniffer function and see if there is anything like lockup.

Here is a list of Standard VMSpc Features that may be read and displayed.  What actually can be read from the data bus and displayed depends on your engine and transmission computers and what was enabled on them.

Torque Converter Status may be what you are looking for.  Use the PID sniffer to see if it is listed. You will need ign on, engine does not need to be running, to see all that are available.

I will look later to see what I find.
