Air Leak

New member, First post. I just bought a 2000 u320 4000. I have a leaking valve between the primary and secondary air tanks in the front of the RV. I don't have picture's yet but does anyone know what this valve is? Part number? How critical is this leak?

Welcome to the Forum JKranz!  We are glad to have you join our group.

Air system leaks are, in general, not critical unless they prevent the engine air compressor from maintaining adequate system pressure.

In other words, you can have many small air leaks that don't keep you from using your coach, but they DO irritate you (some more than others).

We are gonna need a photo of the thing that is leaking.  There are several air valves in the vicinity of the front air tanks.

Once we know exactly what is leaking, we will be able to offer specific advice.

JKranz, be sure to use safety stands if you are crawling under your coach to get the pics or work on the leak.  If you don't have them look them up on the main page search bar.
Good luck and congrats!

That is the area where there is an air regulator for the front 6 pack. They are known to leak.

If that's what it is, it's a $20 part you can buy at Lowes in the air tool section.
