Re: start batteries Reply #1 – October 19, 2020, 05:29:35 am On my 01 they were underneath on the drivers side in the rear by the engine on my previous 2000 and 1999 they were on the passenger side. The chassis batteries are going to be near the engine on one side or the other. Quote Selected
Re: start batteries Reply #2 – October 19, 2020, 08:28:46 am On mine, they are behind the door just forward of the radiator on the passenger side.Rich Quote Selected
Re: start batteries Reply #3 – October 19, 2020, 09:45:00 am If you have a tag axle then open the driver's side rear most louvered panel and look for the battery rack next to the engine. Without a tag then they are probably behind the narrow door just behind the drive wheels on the passenger's side. Quote Selected 1 Likes
Re: start batteries Reply #4 – October 20, 2020, 11:19:12 am Thanks for the info. I do have a tag and have looked behind the rear most drivers side louvered panel. The batteries are located in front of the engine however access to the batteries appear to be only from under the coach could that be right? Quote Selected 1 Likes

Easy access to batteries was apparently not a high priority item when the coaches were designed.Which is why almost all owners favor some type of maintenance-free batteries. Quote Selected

A shallow pit is a great help along with a hydraulic table to slid them off on and let them down.Mike Quote Selected
