Mystery switch

What is this switch?  Right side, two green wires.  Below bathroom sink.  We can't figure it out.

Electric toilet switch?

I am going to install an official looking switch somewhere in my coach complete with wires that does absolutely nothing.  Keep 'em guessing!

Matt,

It could be a switch to a solenoid valve that recirculates water through the hot water side of the system. If the PO did a lot of boon docking they could have added this as it is a huge water saver. We have had one of those on the last 3 coaches. Now remember this was just a WAG. 
To test this theory turn on water pump and let cycle off.
Leave water pump switch on.
Press switch and see after a few second (15/20 that is how long it take for ours) if the water pump comes on.
If pump comes on press switch 2nd time to close valve.
This should let pump cycle back off after a few seconds.

Current toilet is foot pedal, though it could be for a previous electric toilet.

I will try that in the morning.

I looked, and the general specs for our coach imcluded a Microphor toilet.  I assume the electric and not the air operated.

I have the same switch and have yet to find what it does. 
The toilet switch is by the toilet. 
Good luck on finding the purpose.

Matt, get out your digital volt meter and check to see if one side ot the other of the switch has 12v.  Generally if it is a FT switch (looks like it) the +12v wire will be white and have a number on the wire every 8" or so.  Ground wires are generally green.  The unlabeled plate makes me wonder if was added later.  Being a momentary switch suggests a triggering switch like the water pump, the fill solenoid or an electric toilet cycle.  Hot water recirculation systems are rare and almost always owner (or at the owner's request) installed.  Mine uses a momentary switch to trigger the timing device which opens the recirculation solenoid valve.

We also have a momentary switch in the bathroom than triggers a latching relay to turn on a bathroom ceiling light.  Another momentary switch in the bedroom does the same

Can you follow the wires anywhere?

If momentary, it might be for the fluorescent ceiling fixture.  I seem to recall that light is wired with 2 switches, one in the dining area and one in the bathroom for some coaches.

In my coach it powers the Surflo pump so we have water pressure when not hooked up like at rest stops.
Mine is a momentary switch, if the LED is on so is power to the pump, press it again and the LED goes off and so does the pump.
We have a similar switch under the counter at the kitchen sink too....

OMB's photo shows the water pump momentary switch (with LED) as the middle switch in the gang.

He's asking about the switch on the right end with no LED and no label.

Wouldn't a '98 320 have come with an electric toilet? Since it now has a pedal toilet the switch might do nothing.

I don't have that switch on my 1999 u320. Just the water pump and water fill switches. All of the light switches are on the outside cabinet nearest the closets. It's factory installed or at least it looks like it. My suggestion would be to get a wire tracer and see if you can figure out where that goes to also unscrew the switch and make sure that it's still connected in back before you do too much troubleshooting.
