TWO SLIDES SUDDENLY WILL NOT EXTEND

2004 36' U295 BUILD # 6286 LIVING ROOM SLIDE DRIVERS SIDE AND BEDROOM CLOSET SLIDE PASSENGER SIDE

I have owned this unit for four years with no previous slide problems. The unit is in storage and six weeks ago both slides extended and retracted normally. Today with the Cummins running, unit leveled in sleep mode, parking brake on neither slide would proof past the flashing yellow phase and proceed to the solid amber. The 12 volt air pump is not operating when the slide key is turned and the air pressure gauge reads zero.  The computer units in the bay all seem to have power. The leveling system appears to be functioning normally as the unit is in storage. House voltage is 13.8 with Cummins running and 12.9 with engine off. I can fairly easily put a credit card between the slide and the bladders but this is not different regardless of slide key position.

I would welcome any thoughts.

Thanks

Check the inline fuse for the aux compressor and also the resettable 12V breaker for that compressor (should be in the same bay).  That compressor needs to run in order to satisfy the vacuum for the HWH computer to know it's safe to move the slides.

Check the inline fuse for the aux compressor and also the re-settable 12V breaker for that compressor (should be in the same bay).  That compressor needs to run in order to satisfy the vacuum for the HWH computer to know it's safe to move the slides.
Second that.  I believe the "newer" coaches have a safety cutoff on the slides to prevent slides from moving unless there is a certain amount of vacuum at the slide bladder manifold.  Get the compressor running and the slides will work.  Check the fuses.  There is a reset-able fuse behind the fiberglass panel in storage bay and a 5amp? pull-able blade fuse near the compressor.

Travel mode is not necessarily level which is what the HWH system requires in order to operate the slides in later model HWH systems.  In my 2001 level is best but not required.

The newer systems sense vacuum level and require a sufficient level (assuming that means the bladders are deflated and not leaking) for the slide to operate.  Air pressure is required to establish the vacuum.  The pump needs to run.
