Slide bladder #2

While we were in South Dakota in September my living room slide bladder started leaking. At the end of October a trip to MOT fixed that problem...  Today while washing it I noticed my 12v compressor was running often, I know of a couple of small air leaks around the compressor and I'm getting my parts together to redo the dryer/water traps for it so I wasn't to concerned.. Butwhen I got around to the bedroom slide I could hear an air leak a little more than head high.. Looks like there's another trip to Nac in my future...😕

There is a history of bladders aging-out around the 7-10 year mark.  Dan Weaver posted about it a couple of years ago.  If both were the same age, this would be in line with that observation.

When our BR one failed at the 8 year mark, we had both replaced at the same time.  I wouldn't necessarily recommend it if there were other reasons a slide bladder failed, but if one fails and they both are in that 7-10 (or greater) age range, it's just a matter of time before the other one goes.  Just like tires, etc., they are made of rubber and age out.

Sorry to hear that Keith. At least once this one is done you should be good for a long while.
Looking forward to maybe seeing you two somewhere down the road in the future.
