HTFL Fuel Line

Greetings.

I will soon be upgrading the fuel lines. 

Does anyone have a source to purchase cut lengths?  As of now I am only finding suppliers which give a price per foot but state it must be bought in 500' increments.

Do you have Parker Hose nearby?  They'll have what you're looking for.

From the posts I have read, it looks like one of the more important things for me to get completed.  Doesn't look as bad as the radiator upgrade that I am considering.

You will have to figure out what you need. Your coach doesn't have a aqua hot so that will reduce needed hose. Removing and reinstalling fuel tank and be cautious not to kink fuels lines. Also engine and generator fuel lines should be changed at the same time. Just make sure you get fuel line that is Bio-diesel rated line. From your generator fuel filter you will have six fuel lines till you get to your primary return fuel line. Engine also has several lines between filter and return. Just saying there is a bunch more lines than just the main ones

X2 on the trident barrier hose. Very easy to work with, push on fittings work just fine

Thanks Larry.

I read few posts which mentioned  HTFL is the product FOT is using so I thought there must be a good reason to use it.

Before I asked the forum for help I had basically decided that the Trident product would be my alternative.

This forum is really great.  I was easily able to find out what is important about selecting the right fuel line product.  For instance, making sure the material is rated for "constant contact" with diesel, compatible with the bio-diesel, etc.

Next- educating myself on fittings.

I will give FOT a call to check pricing and availability.  Of course, I am going to compare pricing with the Trident.  My coach isn't five years old- it is a 2001.  I have to be practical. I have a many things which need attention.
