bedroom ac drainage

We bought our 93 Grand Villa Unihome about 2 years ago. Many things fixed but, the most irritating is still the bedroom ac.  after a couple hours of running sometimes less, the condensation begins to drain down on to the bed.  (could make many references).  At first we just caught the water in the range cover when out of the coach, that is a pain and you can't use it at night.  I have taken the inside parts off ceiling and find that the condensation is coming from the fan housing.  Have taken the top cover off and the coverings around the fan and condenser coils.  There are no drain hoses as I thought there would be, there is only a Styrofoam trough under the condenser coil that has a hole in each end presumably to drain on to the roof.  there is also Styrofoam with a small trough to the fan housing but the table made by that seemed to give the water a clear run into the fan housing into the bedroom.  I added some height to the edge around the fan housing (as you see in the picture before I added the foam to stop the water getting into the fan housing) but, that did not work, but just diverted more water!  Can I just take the styrofoam out from under all of it and let it just drop the condensation on to the roof and drain off that way.  will try to get a picture or two here but, I am not great at that.

I would NOT remove the styrofoam pieces if I were you.  They are a essential part of the design, and the only thing that routes the condensate out onto the roof through the drain holes.

I had a similar problem with our original Penguin bedroom air conditioner.  I posted two threads describing where my unit was leaking, and how I repaired it.  The old threads may be of some help to you.

I have seen bits of foam flake off and clog the drain hole. I would take the shroud and inner metal cover off and run it until it clogs up and I bet you'll be able to find the blockage just by following the condensation.

See the attached picture. The units I've worked on usually have a drain hole on one side where I've indicated and it's fairly easy to clog.

Looking for plugged up drain holes is a good first step.  The Penguin units fitted to the older GVs have drain holes on both sides.  Since the GV roof is flat (unlike the Unicoach) they will drain out whichever side is sitting lower.

On our 1989 I had water dripping on to the bed. After taking the top shroud off I discovered that water (rain) was leaking around a couple of the shroud hold down bolt heads, then running forward on the AC frame and then down the copper coils and then out onto the bed.
Try some koolaid when everything is dry. Pour some on what you think is the leak spot. But make sure you have a catch pan on the bed or suffer some severe penalties from the DW.
