Six pac solenoids the same ??

A little help please...are the solenoids on the 6 pacs the same ???? can the RAP1940 solenoids  be exchanged between "travel" "dump" and "raise" ?

Much Thanks

Hans

Hans,

Yes, on your '95 U300 all the HWH solenoid valves should be interchangeable and functionally identical.

Note:  New replacement solenoid valves from HWH may look different, with differing types of coil covering or coil retention brackets, but the brass valve body should be the same as your OEM valves.

I happen to have the front one off the coach at the moment.  If it helps, attached is photo of the part number label.

Not sure if this is not realised but I am sure I am correct in saying that you can change the location of the solenoid on the block but the wiring has to go back to its original position on the block. In other words, make sure a wire is controlling that same port on the block.
Chuck will agree or correct me.

Yes, the solenoids are the same, have the same threads and function the same, but you may or may not find differences in the length of the wiring.  Also the wiring may be labeled for connecting to a certain set on the chassis bundle.  Each solenoid has a pair of wires with one connector.  Since there are 6, best to label everything before disconnecting the wiring.

Thanks all... wiring will be marked for the appropriate solenoid.
