Engine starts for 30 seconds then dies

Trying to start it for the first time since the freeze. Antifreeze is good and rated for enough so it did not freeze. I start it and it fires right up then thirty seconds later shuts down. Any advice?

System has air? Overheating and sensor shuts it down? Also if it thinks the system is low it will shut down

If the coolant system is the only thing touched then that would be what I would guess is the issue.. If not Air in the fuel lines

The 6V92 has a coolant level sensor at the top of the radiator. Pop the radiator cap and check/add antifreeze as needed to top it off. Over winter the antifreeze may have dropped just enough to go below the sensor.

Also check your overflow tank. If this is empty your radiator would have drawn in air the last time the engine ran and cooled off.

Look at the black tank on the right as you open the engine door. There is a window showing the level and a sensor there. If the coolant level falls below the sensor, the DDEC shuts down the engine. Do you have two fans or one. A late 92 will have two fans and a horizontal radiator. The early 1992s have a vertical radiator and one fan and have a cap on top of the radiator.
