Water Hoses for 95 U240 Cat 3116

I am preparing for summer trip to the keys.  I can see that on the transmission cooler the water hoses look like formed hoses.  I don't know about the other hoses.  I know I have a spin-on water filter, I want to change it alone with the proper anti-freeze.  I am not sure the water filter is the right on!!

What is the correct water filter? or where can I find the number?
Where can I find the part numbers for the hoses?
What fluid do most people use?

Correct water filter depends on what coolant you are using.

If one of the newer generation OAT coolants, you will use a filter BLANK (full filtration, but zero SCA).

If one of the older generation "low silicate for diesel with added SCA coolants", you will need to test the SCA concentration to determine the proper filter, as they come with different amounts of SCA.

ForeTravel does not always get my best scores, but I give them a 5 Star on this topic for two reasons.
  I called ForeTravel parts and was told that the info I wanted is in the back of my OEM manuals.  That was a big time saver for me. GREAT.
  I have the manuals and indeed the Gates hoses and filter numbers are list there.  Back in the day of the 90's ForeTravel did a first class job most of the time.  My 25 year old Gates hoses are still available.  How ForeTravel motivated these ET rednecks(I am proudly one of) to do such Quality workmanship is by me, but they did it.  The engineering, materials, and workmanship on my 95 U-240 is still after 198K miles as good as it come.

Before ordering hoses, make sure they are silicone. They last forever and were OEM on ours. (thanks Craneman for the correction from "not silicone" to "silicone." My typo.)
