Replacement recliner - Grand Villa?

Has anyone replaced a recliner in a '93 GV? I'm looking for options. My OEM chair is just not comfortable. The previous owner did have it re-stuffed and recovered but it's still not comfortable for my aching back.

Any other recliner is going to be tough to fit in that space. I didn't even realize it was a recliner for the first year we owned the coach. For me, it's an instant nap whenever I recline it. Might check large dealerships to see what other brands use.

We have been looking for a replacement recliner for years. We haven't checked every furniture store we pass but a lot.  Some get close but then they rock or swivel , something I can't use.   
  We've decided to just get it redone even though it will cost more than a new one. 

 So I'll be watching to see if someone finds one. Good luck with a matching color I guess.

Mine is mounted on a box that was carpeted when we replaced that. Looks like a bigger project that I first thought. I'll be at MOT tomorrow, I'll ask Keith D. What he thinks.

Typical coach project for us...Let's reupholster the chair....oh, might as well do the sofa too. 🤣  "coach buck project creep"

We have an appointment at FOT on the 17 for some mechanical stuff. I ask for an estimate and a reservation for recovering the couch, barrel chair, recliner and probably the captains chairs but didn't get confirmation on it. Talked to David and left a couple messages.

Robert and Susan, as long as you will be in town you might want to check with Keith Davis in the remodeling department at MOT.

J & S,  New foam of your choosing in your OEM recliner may be the key to your comfort.

Next time you're in Knoxville check this place out for new foam and fabric. They and their prices are both real old school.
