Do you recognize this part

I was working on installing my docking lights and this piece fell down from I don't know where.
I was behind the rear tires

Frank,

This has me stumped for sure as to where that would fit on your coach. I wonder if that is road debris that you picked up in a campground and it was hung on the lip of the fender.  Sure looks like something off a leg of a folding lawn chair or a collapsible light saber.

That's the ring that holds your flux capacitor on. I wouldn't drive without it. You can get a whole new unit at Oreilly's: https://www.oreillyauto.com/flux-500.html

The only thing I can think of is some kind of wire grommet.

Appears to be threaded on the inside. Just  wondering if it might be a locking collar for some electrical cable or wire....

First thing that came to my mind was something to do with a TPMS cap

Store it some where in the coach so you n find it and you will probably never need it.  Throw it away and in a week it will be obvious where it goes.  You will be along the side of the road on the cell phone trying to find a replacement .  Be safe.  8)

The nice thing is...you don't realize it is happening......unless some kid (anyone under the age of 50) points out your mental lapse (brain fart).
