Re: Splendide Washer/Dryer gave up the ghost!

I too had to lower the floor in the closet to install my 2100X combo. As my coach had a diagonal steel wall brace that I found with a small magnet. The platform floor supports were all that were changed, to drop the floor to allow the new vent hole to be cut and to miss the wall steel.
I have really enjoyed the combo. BUT, as I used it, the dryer became slower and slower to dry. 2.5 years ago, I removed the top and the back, after tipping the unit inboard, and was able to remove the rubber discharge hose inside the unit. It was clogged more than 60%. Fast forward to May this year, and again, very poor drying times, and I again removed the inside discharge rubber discharge hose, and this time it was almost totally blocked with lint, again. The dryer inside discharge hose will be on a 2 year tear down for cleaning from now on.
