Need to change the hose bib in the water pressure tank bay

I have a small leak on the handle of the hose bib, it's #5 in the parts manual.  Couple of questions

1- I started to undo the hose but coolant kept coming out. Filled up a gallon before putting it back on the barb. Is there a shutoff valve for this and if so, where is it?
2- I may need to replace the hose, #2 in the pic. How far up does this go? It is leaking near the end. I may be able to pull it down and cut it 1-2".

Thanks.

??Coolant in your potable water system??

And, if leaking from the stem, tighten it up a little (wrench) and see if it stops.

Thanks Wolfe. Ha no it's not water, the system is just next to the potable tank. The label below the hose is for the dash heat. I did tighten the bib, will see if that does it.

I need to add some coolant back. Looking at the pic, is the black is the reservoir and the other the overflow tank? The black box smells and looks like coolant but want to ensure I can add it back via the metal cap.

You add it via the overflow after filling the black tank when it is cold.

They make a tool for working on radiator and heater hoses.  It shuts off the hose so you can work without losing a bunch of coolant.  They are called "clamp pliers" or "pinch pliers".  You can usually find them at your local auto parts store, hardware store, or on Amazon.

In the above photo:  From the condition of Jason's radiator black metal pressure tank in the engine compartment, beware that the tank has been known to create rust holes on back side pressed against the wall it is mounted on.

Prevention is to loosen the mounting, pull the tank away from wall a bit, scrape rust, paint with rust prevention, put few spacer nuts on the mounting bolts to allow air flow behind tank.  Not necessary to remove any hoses if can pull tank away far enough to clean back side.

May be surprised how bad the back side looks.  No fun if pressure tank springs a rust leak.  Even tanks in other coaches that look great may have lots of rust on their back side from no air flow, hot temps, condensation, etc.
