relays and solenoids in engine bay-should I enclose?

Hey all,

I am redoing the inside of the engine bay on my U270. The factory insulation finally gave up the ghost, so I am putting in new insulation. While I am at it, I am thinking about enclosing the relays, solenoids, and ATS that are all mounted to the forward bulkhead of the engine bay.

Question is, how much air flow do those (particularly the ATS) need to keep from overheating? Will closing them in cause problems down the road?

Thanks, and I look forward to your input.

Unless you drive in rain and sleet I would not enclose them, repaint the mounting board and clean all the connections.
