Rear original Penguin air conditioner

Works well. Heat strip and cold however I've lost my ability to set the temp. It runs all the time. Kind of manual. Used to work fine.
Any ideas where to start looking. Someone said the wall thermostat works with a board on the roof unit?

If you have the 4 button comfort control thermostat there are write ups about repair and there is a member that repairs them.
