Refrigerator vent assembly, can I screen?

I didn't see anything in past history so I thought I would ask. My bus has a large colony of wasps that decided they needed to populate the inside of the fridge vent. I have dispatched this particular batch, but am wondering if I could glue some screen door screen on the inside of the vent assembly in order to slow down the next influx.

Will the screen hamper air flow enough to worry about?

Thanks for the input.

Yes, screen would reduce air flow.

You could easily make up for that and actually improve refrigerator performance by adding a  couple of muffin fans at the top of the refrigerator  CONDENSER exhausting up.  They are low amp and you could tie into most any 12 VDC source.  I wired mine to an additional switch in the switches over the galley sink.

Brett,

Where would I access a spot to mount those? would it be from the roof? By the way, it's good to get your counsel on anything other than something that has me stranded in the middle of nowhere! HAH!

Thanks again,

Len

Yes, install from the roof.
