Second Thoughts

First of all, I want to say howdy to everyone.  We've missed the forum and the great support that comes with it.

Well as you all know we sold our 1999 320 and got into a 2006 Newmar Kountry Star over the winter of 2020.  After utilizing the Newmar through the summer Carmen and I decided to go back into a Foretravel.  Though we both agree that there were things we like about this coach there are also many things we don't like.  One main thing we both struggled with is that our hearts never forgot about Foretravel.  We are currently searching for a 2003 U320 with slides and would like to keep it short.  We understand that finding one will be difficult and may take sometime.  We will be selling the Newmar upon our return to Florida in the fall.  We are hoping we to find what we want before spring of 2022.  Thank you all for all of you support and we are looking forward to returning to the Foretravel Family.

We are very new to RV'ing, our current Foretravel being our first, I believe we would never be satisfied with a different OEM and ownership family. Welcome back and thanks for sharing your experience.

John if you're willing to share, I'd love to hear what it was about the Newmar that you didn't like (and also what you DID like). My intention isn't to start a SOB flaming, rather understand what I missed out on. It was the one of the two other brands I was considering before settling on FT.

John & Carm- Well, you never REALLY left us... 

Glad your switching back to FT, miss all your tips and mods!

When we all get back to Florida this fall we've got to go back to that Mexican place in Lakeland on a Sunday to enjoy the great food and Mariachi band, (and your company of course) !
