Non high-tech steps (split from Re: Steps don't come out when door is unlocked)

Way to high tech for me. :))
My step comes out when I lift it out of the coach and set it on the ground and goes back in when I pick it up and set it inside the coach.
I must admit I once drove away without the step and had to return 107 miles to retrieve it. (low tech error known as senior moment)

Those must be some high $ steps

Yup. Low tech tho. Didn't need a computer or Autocad to design and build.

another FYI

My steps would go in all the way but the cover lacked about 3/4 inch of fitting up with the coach side. That prompted me to push on the cover as the step was closing. And that lead to my solution. Dry lubrication after a full cleaning.
