J Lounge dinette with motorized table

Was a J Lounge dinette ever installed in a 2001-2005 coach shorter than 40 foot?

Do you have room to slide in from aft side? I swear our table needs to go forward six inches to accommodate sitting with slide closed

Ours too but not with a motorized table mount.  The table slides in and out on the mount.

The mount would have to go forward aft, not side to side like it currently does

In some Phenix models, perhaps others, the table is mounted in a fixed position on the base which is mounted to the slide floor. The motorized base moves towards the center of the coach or back towards the outside.

In the 2001 rendition the table slides in and out on a fixed position base mounted to the floor of the slide.  The table moves in and out on a sliding dovetail base attached to the table bottom. This base is not in the center of the table front to rear so the table top can be removed and rotated end for end moving the table as much as 11 inches towards the front or rear.  The base itself can be removed from the bottom of the table top and repositioned anywhere you want it.

The oval shaped table top is an awkward shape for most purposes.  I made a new table top to the size I wanted, moved the fixed base 2" closer to the outside of the slide and positioned the new table top using a sliding dovetail mount where it worked best for us.
