Dead silverleaf- Help!

Silverleaf help!! It's going to be 25* tonight.
While Hubs was troubleshooting the water pump the silverleaf decided to completely stop operating. No screen all controls are dead. Does anyone have ideas is there a master reset somewhere?

From what you are saying it sounds like your computer isn't booting up.
Roger will probably walk you through it.

I am Roger, but I can't be much help on Silverleaf equipment other than VMSpc.  But he found a bad fuse and that fixed it.

This is a basic lesson for all.  Start with the most obvious and simple solutions first.  If it is electrical, where does the power come from? How does it get to here the problem is occurring?  Where are your 12v fuses and circuit breakers? Where are your 120v circuit breakers? Do you have any ground fault outlets that might trip?  It is not much different from your home.  The more you know the better you are able to deal with many issues.  Keep looking and learning.  Keep asking questions.

Funny enough he did just that. This post was about 90 mins after he started and he looked at this particular box 3X but.. because these fuses don't look like traditional automotive ones he was expecting he didn't realize what it was. Not to mention it was getting dark when started at 35*!
Luckily I found a post that was talking about how the fuses (in a diff location) looked like small metal things vs traditional fuses so he went back again and was able to realize what he was looking at.

Unfortunately, the coach didn't come with any valuable manuals so we will be asking FT for them and hoping when we have our warranty work done they will do a walk through with us of the items we haven't figured out fully yet. Always a learning curve with a new coach!

Stacey/Eric, can you post pictures of your Silverleaf equipment?  Given the age of your coach, maybe it was a factory installed item?

I believe that you have a thermostat(s) somewhere (front cabinet over the driver?) that you can use to operate the AC's and or heat.  At the aqua hot you should have override switches where you can operate that in a pinch.  Also there should be a RVC reboot switch somewhere (my coach has outside by the power cord)  that you can press if things stop working the way they should.

To help someone in the future, where was the circuit breaker/fuse for the Silverleaf located?

It is factory installed.  It is a touch screen that you can use to operate all of the items in the coach. AC, heat, floor heat, water pump, water fill, inverter, charger, generator, generator auto start, etc...

To help someone in the future, where was the circuit breaker/fuse for the Silverleaf located?

Yes, we did have a manual option for both the heat/aqua hot and a/c's. Aqua hot is next to it in the bay the other is by the driver. I didn't know this was an option when I posted but the hubs did!

Ours is in the passenger side back bay, above where the dirt devil is installed and behind a gray carpeted cover. It's tucked up tight and hard to see clearly especially when dark outside!

Attaching pics. Seems obvious now,but when you're looking for a specific item and you think you know what it looks like... he thought this was a bus bar initially.

I'm sure he will advise what RVC stands for I think it's actually titled silverleaf on some models, which would not have hurt in our hunt for the right panel last night! Ha.

See enlarged image of our panel I highlighted it. Literally a tiny pin pop out you have to reset.

RV-C Can bus is a standard & communication path that goes from the front of the coach to the back.  My coach has two and there is a router that is under the bed that combines the two.  There are 4 wires that make up the buss, Positive, negative, can H and can L.  Just about everything that is plugged into this buss is powered by the buss's power.

Almost everything in newer coaches is tied into this buss where everything can talk to each other.  As the picture above of the transfer switch shows it is tied into this buss.  This connection lets the Silverleaf get the information as to what the voltages are coming into the coach, if it has shore power or generator power.  The Silverleaf system has modules that let it talk to items that are not RVC compatible.  There is one to operate floor heat. The inverters are tied into the buss thus letting you see what they are doing via the Silverleaf or to make changes to it.  The light modules that supply power to the lights and the switches are all tied into this buss.  Even door locks, cabinet locks, water pump, water fill and shade controls are all tied to this buss.

In the new coaches with the push button engine start, the start module talks to the Trimark module via this buss to ask if there is a keyfob nearby. If the Trimark says yes, then the engine will go into start sequence.  If the Trimark does not see the right keyfob or is not talking for some reason the engine is not going to start.  (Don't ask how I learned that two weeks ago)

Thanks for all of the supplemental information.  As my wife stated, we found the popped 12v breaker. I figured I would elaborate on how it popped. I'm trying to troubleshoot an always hot (continuous power regardless of any switch) water pump, i pulled the panel in the wet bay that has the pump bypass, tank bypass, and RVC reset switches. In pulling it out of its mount, I must have bumped the RVC reset connector on the metal wet bay trim which is what tripped the circuit. Didn't know until I went inside later and found the panel dead. The rest after that was trying to find where those 12v breakers were located and looking for an automotive style fuse box vs the resettable style that are on our 2020 Realm. I do appreciate everyone's input and learned a lot about the system just in tracing all of the components.

Interesting seeing the wiring guts of the Realm and how similar they are layed out to the 2001 U320 I have.  Same electrical engineers still at work it seems.  Thanks for posting the pix.
