disassembly of Ramco mirror?

While driving in numerous campgrounds the past few years and even on the highways of Maine last summer I whacked my passenger side mirror on bushes and tree limbs repeatedly, requiring frequent stops to readjust it. As I was leaving Maine in cold weather at the end of the season I noticed the large flat glass mirror on the passenger side doesn't defog anymore when I turn on the mirror heat. Hopefully it's just the connector got knocked off or something. I looked at it and don't see any obvious way to disassemble the mirror. I looked on Ramco's website but they don't provide that information. Do any of you folks know how to disassemble the mirror ...without breaking it :) ...I suppose in the grand scheme of things a bit of mirror whacking is a small price to pay for several years of staying in beautiful campsites.

You have to remove each mirror from their motor.  Mine were held on with a RTV adhesive and strips of Velcro.  The Velcro holds the mirror while the adhesive cures. You can carefully cut through with a fine steel wire. Prying the mirror will likely break the glass.

Slide a putty knife behind the mirror up from the bottom to cut the RTV or split the velco. Don't pry, just slide upward like you are "cutting" or scraping the velcro.
