Water pump question

I have a Shurflo 2088-403-144 pump. I want to disconnect the inlet line so I can attach a hose to pump antifreeze through the system. I can't find which is the inlet and which is the outlet anywhere. As it is mounted in my coach the LEFT side has the two red wires. The other side as no wires. Which is which?

Input side of water pump is fed from hose at bottom of fresh water tank.

Thanks, Barry. Yes, I understand that. The problem is that I'd have to do a lot of disassembly work to figure that out, since there is a wall between the fresh water tank and the pump. I suppose I could close everything up, take the coach over to a water supply, put some water in the tank, then remove one connection on the pump. If water comes out that's the input side. If no water comes out it is the output side.

I think once I find out which is which I'm going to label if for the next time someone needs to know. Would have been nice if ShurFlo had done that on the pump.

There should be an arrow on the pump head

My water pump is a shrflo 4008.  Inlet side is where the filter screen is on photo.

May not help though with your model number differences.

David, Shurflo pump DOES have an arrow on the top of the plastic part between the in & out ½" hoses.

Also, modify your hoses with a Tee & valves and a new long hose that reaches the ground. Put hose in antifreeze bottle, close off fresh water tank, open antifreeze bottle hose, turn on pump.. If you have hot water tank, find a way to bypass it or you will put 10 gallons in tank (after you drain tank).
