Need help Stinky Slinky storage tube ideas

Well, some dumbass accidentally leaned on the PVC storage tube for my Stinky Slinky hose while installing a new converter/battery charger and broke part of it off.
I wanted to just replace it with something a bit newer and maybe not so brittle with 32 years of age.
It is a 5" PVC tube with 1/8" wall and about 4-1/2' long.
I have two of them and they are protruding inward from the inside wall of my dump control compartment.
Two ideas have been suggested: 1) 5" Plastic fence post. 2) 6" PVC pipe.
Anybody know where I can get the original size 5" x 1/8" wall PVC? These tubes are black on the outside and I don't know if they were painted or came that way.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Right now I am contemplating fastening some plastic eaves trough together to form a somewhat six sided tube. Cheap, durable, and readily available.

Nitehawk, the original I believe is ABS (black) and it is hard to find ABS in our area--plumber friend said he didn't know anyone that sold it anymore.  I have been looking(not hard) for 5" sewer and drain  ( thin wall) so I can re-do the hose holder on ours but i will also have to re-do the little door that goes to the tube. I have seen 6" doors on internet just haven't decided if that is what I want to do--not at top of to do list lol!!!

Glenn/Scott I'm going to get a 8 X 8 inch door from eBay or amazon and then I plan to use 6" sewer and drain pipe.  I haven't made up my mind to either use stainless for transition or wood probably stainless.  Stainless is more trouble but it will last as long as I do.  I would use 5"  S&D but I haven't been able to find any

Well, after some deliberation I decided functional and durable is more important than beauty when it comes to "stinky slinky" storage tubes for our 1989 GV.
Couldn't find any 5" PVC anymore.
Could find some vinyl symmetrical eavestrough for $6.99 for a 10' piece. So, needing two tubes for all my stinky slinky tubes we bought two pieces. I cut them in to (4) pieces 51" long. The cutoffs (or drops) I cut the straight portions lengthwise into 1" wide strips, and then crosswise into 1-3/4" long pieces.
Did you know that the two stage PVC cleaner and cement works on this vinyl eavestrough? IT DOES!!
I then proceeded to cement a piece of the 1-3/4" long piece on the outside end of the long pieces and then one on the inside surface, so I ended up with a "female" slot for the mating 51" piece. I did this on both ends, both sides, and 17" in from each end.
Being somewhat anal, I also drilled and pop riveted the tabs to the long pieces. Now I had my two tubes that could hold my stinky slinkys.
But, did I mention being somewhat anal? I then proceeded to put a "retaining belt" of white super strong T-Rex ferociously strong tape around each tube where my 1" wide x 1-3/4" long pieces located the two 51" pieces nestled together.
After that I also put tape along the two sides--lengthwise--where the two 51" pieces came together.
Now, I haven't decided how to enclose the one end way inside and under the coach where the tube can drain. I am thinking of 1/4" mesh screen fastened with hog rings. The end I insert the drain hose in comes thru the inside wall of my dump control compartment and has a piece of plumber's strap holding that end up towards the ceiling of the compartment. Thus, a slight slope to allow the tube to drain downhill towards the center of the coach.
The entire tube assemblies are then out of sight unless you lay down on the ground and look up under the coach.
So, the entire two tubes, custom made just for our coach, cost (not including taxes)$13.98 for the eavestroughs, $9.98 for the PVC cleaner and cement (90% left for other uses), (1) roll of T-Rex tape (30 yards, also many other uses) $7.99, and (32) 1/8" diameter x 1/4" long aluminum pop rivets I already had.
What is left to do? End caps for inside end of tubes. Enlarge the two existing holes in the inside wall of the dump compartment. (For this I will make a template so I can enlarge the holes to a proper fit.)
All this has to wait until we bring the coach home in April.

If you can use a large soda bottle as a cap. With a heat gun. You can shrink to fit the bottle.
So make a mold of what you want. Slip the bottle over it. Apply heat gun to shrink to size.

I'll take a look, if and when we do get a large soda bottle. Problem is, there is just me, the DW, and Rocket (our cat) so the soda in such a large container goes flat before we consume it all. So the likelihood of us getting a large soda bottle is small.
Also, I want to make sure there is air flow to dry the slinky when we are traveling after doing a dump, so Some openings are necessary.
By the way, the 51" length was perfect for my regular Stinky slinky hose. All of it collapsed into the tube except for the right angle end that goes into septic tank hole in the ground.

I forgot to mention...we were at the building supply store and walking thru the ducting aisle and there I came upon some 5" sheet metal pipe. It is used for chimneys and is nice and shiny. I would think if one took a 6' piece, snapped the thing together and then put another piece around the snapped piece as far as possible and then pop riveted it in place they would have a very quick durable stinky hose storage tube.

I've used the white pvc fence post.  Caps on the ends, one end use bungee cord to make a slip on slip off.  I think the end fitting on the slinky will fit inside but I'd take one with to check for sure, can't remember if the 90 degree fitting fits.  If you use the full length you can put two in there.  Mine was outside so I drilled breathing holes in top and bottom.

My orange end Rhino fittings slide right into the "tubing" I made from eaves troughs. The right angle end doesn't. but it will be inside the dump compartment and out of sight of  sticky fingers/midnite RV Parts.
Or hasn't anyone here ever experienced these late night "shoppers"?

I have ordered  from Amazon  HVAC OV 6" inch Duct Flange for 6" inch Pipe with Wall Mount Connection. Plastic Connector for Heating and Cooling Systems, Ventilation, Exhaust/Dryer Vent Connector. Straight or Flexible Pipes

I plan to see if I can adapt it to a 6" sewer and drain elbow -- if I can I will just use 6" pipe instead of 5". will have to get a different door than what is there-- one step at a time!!!

Well, I think the 4.45" inside diameter  is a bit tight for my Rhino hose fittings.
Also, I needed two tubes so the cost for the purchased finished tubes would have been around $130+.
Mine were a bit cheaper and, being hidden out of sight and only 51" long, were adequate for our needs.

My Rhino hoses fit. The shorter ones are cheaper but your way is probably cheaper still.  :)
