King Jack antenna rattle
I replaced my bay wing antenna with the Ling Jack model a while back. One thing I didn't like was the slight rattle you could hear from it a freeway speeds.
Thought I'd pass on the fix I did.
Got a 6" piece of 2" silicone hose. Slit it lengthwise and wrapped it around the shaft between the base and the antenna. Put a zip tie around it to hold in place.
Worked great. Antenna is still easy to rotate, big the hose piece stopped all the vibration and rattling.
