Bedroom overhead clock wanted

Looking for the overhead bedroom clock or any suggestions as to an alternative replacement. Hate to admit it, but I miss being able to read the time at night!

Check out Office Max or Home Depot for projection clocks.

Please keep us informed if you find a suitable replacement.    We only turn ours on for a second to check,  for fear of the thing someday going south.      And it's kinda bright ...

You can dim the brightness to your liking by pushing the buttons.

So,,,  knowing that ,is it better to leave it on or only ( once or twice a day ) occasionally turn it on.
I'm clueless on what's better for these 26 year old electronics.  I would guess , if it's like the rest of the coach electronics, leave it on ???

Richard it must be just the newer coaches that can dim them as all I can do is turn mine
off and on so I leave it on.

We purchased one from Office Max a few years ago that projects time and temp on the ceiling.
Two problems with it that we learned to live with.
1. Temp is actually 11 degrees colder than projected. How do I know? I put an old fashioned thermometer right next to the clock.
So, now at night when the projected temp reads 53 degrees, the actual temp is 42 degrees. Perfect for sleeping!!
2. Projected images on the ceiling were too bright so I put a couple layers of colored cellophane over the projection lens. Problem solved.

I don't think you have an issue with the clock itself.  When you raise the bed, on the wall toward the front of the coach, there are some small fuses in a row near the top of the board.  You can replace one of these and fix your issues.  I can't remember which one I replaced, but the fuses are available at any auto store.  They look like little square boxes.  Be careful, as the nuts holding these on can be corroded.  I would spray them first.  I will try and find the link to these fuses and post on here.  It fixed mine and yes, I missed not seeing the time over head!

I wish it was just a fuse, but I pulled out the clock and confirmed full voltage is getting to it. The display does not light. Thanks for the suggestion!

Ed, Like you, when my clock went south a year or so ago I pulled it and confirmed that it had good power. I was unable to find a replacement that I liked. So I got out a magnifying glass and bright flashlight and found a spot on the circuit board that appeared to be compromised. I soldered a jumper wire across it and the clock has been working flawlessly ever since.

Might give it a try. Since yours is broken, you can't hurt it.

Thanks for the idea. I never thought to fully inspect the circuit board. My experience was building a Heathkit amplifier which was definitely PRE almost everything in use today!!! But it's time to prove you can teach an old dog new tricks.....
