42-30313 inverter

Does anyone know what this inverter does? The red and white wires just run to plugs on the back of the dash.
1993 U300GV 40ft.

See where is is printed "Javelina" that is one of the old style power supplies for the monitor for the back up camera and tank level.

Thanks, that system has been removed by some previous owner. So I guess it's ok to remove it. I'm in the process of cleaning up the wiring under the dash. With about thirty years of different people repairing and changing things under there it's quite the challenge tracing out all of the circuits. This forum has been a treasure trove of knowledge. As I'm a newbie on motor homes I'm sure I'll be a pain in the rear with questions. I plan on keeping folks posted on my progress.
