Wait a minute before you blame the transfer switch.
What year is your coach?
Do you have a volt meter?
If so at the pole check and make sure on the 50 amp plug you have 240v between the phases and 120v between the ground and phase and 120v between the phase and neutral. The ground is round, neutral is opposite of that and phases are on the left and right.

I am assuming you have volt meter. Have you checked between ground and neutral with an ohm meter. On some transfer switches it there is no continuity between the two, the transfer switch will not switch.
Do you have a cord reel?
Is the power cord connected to the coach or do you have to connect it to a receptacle on the coach. If twist lock receptacle are you sure you have it tight.
