Slide out problems

I have a 2001 fotetravel u320 , I'm having a problem with the slide sometimes the level light won't go off and it will not allow me to put the transmission and drive , my question is how do I bypass this safety protocol when this happens??

Do you mean the light next to the key switch on the HWH control? The level light on my 2000 that's on the key pad doesn't effect mine. It is a required for coach to be level so slide comes in correct so the locking pins engage correct. If they don't I believe it will keep your coach from going into gear.

Take the cover off of the HWH control box in the ceiling of one of the front bays. It's the silver rectangular box with I believe six or eight screws.
Once the cover is off there is a toggle switch inside that will let you bypass the system so it will go into gear.

Remove the screws with care, easy to drop and never find again.  I cut a hole where the switch is located for easier access.  It is now normally covered with a 2" wide piece of tape.
