Xantrex Inverter/Charger Inverter Problem

My Xantrex Combi 15 Inverter/Charger is charging fine, but when Inverter is selected on Xantrex switch panel, it does not seem to be providing any a/c power. I have resent the circuit breaker, as well as checked GFI outlet. Still nothing.

    • Am I missing another switch somewhere for the inverter?
    • Can the charger function and the inverter concurrently fail?

    Call Xantrex tech line. They are helpful. Do you have 110 out of the Xantrex unit is the first place to check

    And, that to be checked TWO ways:

    With shore power or generator on.  If yes, then "pass through" feature of Xantrex working.

    With shore power and generator off.  If yes, then inverter function is working  (with inverter to ON).

    Update...

    Embarrassed.

    As I was conducting the tests Brett Wolfe specified, it occurred to me that, some years ago, Chris White had given me detailed instructions on initializing the Inverter, and had even written them down for me. I found the instruction sheet this morning, and remembered the sequence. There was—and is—nothing wrong with the inverter. It's working fine.
