Chassis Air-How to introduce air from shop compressor

2003 U320 Build# 6147

How can I energize the chassis air tanks from shop air?

I have tried the accessory air connection in the propane bay, It appears that the the air is intended to travel out from the air system, maybe not IN.

I would like to be able to air up the suspension from dry, regulated shop air...

There really isn't room to add a fitting to the drivers side, drive axle drain valve...

Any ideas?

What about towing, where would the tow truck introduce air?

Through the wet tank, which is likely the one near your drive axle on your coach. There is probably a line coming off the wet tank to a valve that's located on the fender, just in front of your driver's side drive tire.

I teed in a valve and air chuck just before the air drier.

I did the same, I think Roger posted this on forum when he did his, It should be in archives someplace!
I think it is harder to do on 270 and 295 but 320 dryer (at least ours) is at back of engine on driver side.

I thought about that too, Just figured Foretravel would've had the Fore-Sight.... ;~}

I am new to the forum, haven't had much luck using the "SEARCH" function and then finding what I am looking fore...

I have plumbed shop air into the coupler fitting in the curb side fuel bay.  If this has a check valve in it, mine isn't working as it will fill the "B" tank to 125psi.

On my control panel to the left of the driver, I have an AUX AIR button.  When switched on, the HWH compressor will fill the "A" tank.  Normally the HWH compressor shuts off at the preset pressure (about 85psi on mine), but if you hold any of the raise buttons down, it will run continuously.  I have had it make enough to get 120psi in the "A" tank.

I do plan to put a coupler fitting off the HWH system at some point, so I can fill into or out of that system.

Factory must have changed that in the propane bay cause, my 2000, I can air up the tanks and the bags

As Ernie said on his 2000 his can be done at the propane tank area.  That is the same on my 1998, for either shop air, or tow truck air.
