Re: Air Leveling Won't Start

To add to Scott's comment, don't expect much action from the weak OEM aux compressor on your coach. Even if it is in perfect operating condition (which is doubtful) it outputs a very small volume of air. It is mainly intended to make very minor adjustments in the attitude of the coach during auto-level operation. If you expect it to fill empty air bags or raise the coach off the hard lower stops, you will probably be disappointed. Best to do the heavy lifting with the big engine running, get the coach leveled where you want it, then shut off the engine and activate the auto-level. See how it does from that starting point.
How well your HWH auto leveling system works depends a great deal on how many air leaks you have. You can search this Forum for the subject "air leaks" or similar keywords to get many excellent tips on where leaks are likely to occur, and how to correct them.
