Tow/Tire fix near Phoenix

I just destroyed the driver side tire on my tow dolly. Kar Kaddy, Passing cars notified me.
Tires were good, but with the heat one may have blown then destroyed the fender. I'm just east of Tonopah and west of buckeye EB on I-10 and looking for someone that can replace the tire. I have AAA Plus RV which is turning out to be useless.
Any ideas of a good shop I can call? This is about 50 mi west of Phoenix.

Here's a few ideas. All have road service of some kind.  Tell em what size tire you have to replace.

Trailer tires are not created equal. I look for the highest speed rating and at least up one on the load.

Amazon.com: ST225/75R15 E 117/112M 10-Ply Trailer King RST Tire (Tire Only)...

I always run at upper pressures in the summer time and can't say enough good things about my TST tire pressure monitor system.
Amazon.com: Truck Systems Technology TST 507 RV TPMS with Color Display -...
The heat is terrible on tires. Little closer to vegas and I would bring you a wheel assembly. Another option is Walmart. Not my preferred but round and will hold air (maybe)

Had exactly the same unpleasant experience about 4 years ago.  Rolling down I-20 outside Dallas in the summer with air temps around 95-100.  Tow dolly driver side tire blew out and destroyed the plastic fender.  Fortunately we had a mounted spare (tow dolly) tire with us so recovery was pretty simple.  I recommend you get a spare tire and wheel before your next trip!

I was able to purchase a replacement fender and tail light assembly direct from Demco.  Give them a call to order.  I don't recall how much they cost, but it wasn't too painful.

Our Kar Kaddy SS came from Demco equipped with Carlisle trailer tires.  I didn't think anything about them (pro or con) until the blow out.  After doing some (much overdue) online research, I replaced them with Goodyear Endurance ST205/75-14 trailer tires.  The Goodyears run at max cold inflation pressure 65 psi instead of 55 psi, and have higher load and speed ratings.  Made in the USA.  I feel much safer with better quality tires, and so far they have been trouble-free.

I've had great success with tires made in China. Lots of U.S., Japanese and Chinese companies now manufacturer their tires in Thailand. Our 295/75R22.5 Firestones were made in Thailand. Our new Chinese Lingong F816e+ 295s are H load rated and M (81 mph) speed rated and made in Thailand. They are far superior to the Coopers that were on the U300.  Our dealer sells many in the long haul trucking industry and has had no complaints.

I finally wore out a set of Aaturo 800 tires, the best tires I've ever had on any vehicle. Speed rated V or 149 mph. Lots of racers are running Aaturo 850s with a Y (186 mph) speed rating. Several good reviews on YouTube.

I've never heard anything but good about present day Chinese tire companies from all the tire dealers I've worked with. But all the recalls and complaints, complaints that anyone can either search for recalls or complains or make a complaint for a tire they own. Check for Recalls: Vehicle, Car Seat, Tire, Equipment | NHTSA  Check Michelin when on the fed site.

I may not like all of China's policies but they do make a lot of excellent products including all of our Apple computers/phones.

Couldnt imagine going without a spare trailer tire.
Couldn't imagine no spare toad tire.
Dislike no spare coach tire but statistically don't need. TST make me almost care free about tire status. Surprisingly every big town I enter I recheck tire temps and pressures before I slow down. Paranoid probably. But I dislike being stranded along the road and would happily slowly  drag a flat tire till I reach a safe place to work on it. Tires and rims can be replaced. A complete loss trumps being hurt.

We don't move without a spare and all the tools in the compartment. If you have a flat and having the same brand/model is important to you, what are the chances the tow truck is going bring the exact tire you want? What if you are in the West and without cell service as in much of the mountain country. It could be days and it will be list price plus. And statistically, the longer you spend by the side of the road, the more likely you will be hit by someone texting, drunk or both. No dragging a front flat to a safe place to park. A rear flat can go miles.

Three rear 22.5 flats and one new truck tire explosion on front left.

Oh they drag along just fine on the toad or trailer. Yes there may be additional damage, but im fine with that. Beats being in the middle of a road. IMO.

That's what we did.  Our dolly tire blew on I-20 where there was a VERY narrow shoulder and trucks going by 3 feet away at 75 mph.  There was NO way to deal with the blown tire in that location.  A TX DPS officer pulled up behind us with lights flashing to protect us from the solid stream of truck traffic.  I backed the Sorento off the dolly and the DW drove it up the road about a mile to the next exit.  The DPS squad car followed behind me as I drove the coach in the "slow" lane at about 20 mph, dragging the tow dolly with the blown tire.  The tread on the tire was completely gone, but the sidewalls were still intact and provided some protection to the steel wheel.  I took the exit and there was a handy convenience store parking lot where we pulled in to regroup.  The DPS officer asked if we needed any more help, but I told him BIG THANKS we were good.  Then all I had to do was remove the mangled fender and tire, and install our spare mounted wheel/tire.  The steel wheel from the blown tire ended up with a few scrapes on the edge of the rim, but otherwise came through it fine.  I reused it for my spare tire wheel, and it's still in service.

Thanks for this. That is exactly what mine has.
I did inquire about run flats and they said they would be fine.
I was thinking of 15" tires if I can get the fender clearance. The road clearance is pretty small with the 14"s
I wonder if I can use the same tire size as the Toad? '99 Toyota RAV4 2door. Would fix the spare issue,

Is the bolt pattern the same on the trailer as the toad?

Specs for OEM Demco chrome Kar Kaddy SS wheel:

Rim dimensions: 14" x 5-1/2"
Bolt pattern: 5 on 4-1/2"
Offset: +42 mm
Mounting surface of wheel sits outside of rim centerline
Weight capacity: 2,040 lbs
Pilot hole diameter: 2.84"

https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Demco/DM11574.html

Note: Etrailer video says that the wheel has a positive 42mm offset. This places the wheel mounting surface outside the wheel center line.  This is required to make the dolly "self steering" function work correctly.

One day I'll get the courage to tell the story of when the neck broke on my dolly as we were going down the road.
In restless dreams I walked alone.
Narrow streets of cobblestone.
