1996 U320 Entry Door Hinge Fix

I think I've found a fix for the wearing of the hinge on the entry door.

Ours had worn enough that the door took a fair bit (a lot) of persuasion to close.

I had tried short pieces of PVC pipe to hold the door up a little higher, but those would compress in a fairly short time.

I've now been using retainer clips and 3 in each of a half dozen hinges seem to work well.

But I do like the ingenuity of the fix!!
I have had to improvise things myself so I know how good it feels to come up with a solution.
One winter when down on Crane's Mill in TX A #10-32 screw holding the front axle of our large awning broke. Guess what? One of those large "cotter" spring pins that we use on our tow bar is the same diameter and is HARDENED SPRING STEEL!! Been there four years now.
The spring in our old Dometic fridge handle broke. Dometic (and others) wanted about $30 for a new latch. (Just read a post where a FOT owner is quoted a $70 price now)  I went to our big box building supply store and rummaged thru all the cabinet latches until I found one with a spring that I could do a slight modification to. Been in there about six years now and nobody notices, sees it, or even cares. Cost? Less than $6
