Clock above the Bed.

The wife stepped in the coach the other day and said the clock over the bed was making noise.  I went and checked it and looks like it was rebooting every 30 seconds or so and would make a noise when it did that.  I got in the back and disconnected it and then reconnected it.  After reconnecting now all it does in ding and the :  flashes with every ding.  I was hoping if I left it unplugged for a while it would start working again.  No luck.

Foretravel said it has been years since they have installed one and have no stock.  I searched the internet and could not find a 12v unit.

Has anyone had any luck finding one?

The real Pi$$er is my old 1997 FT coach's clock was still working when I sold the coach 2 years ago, so it lasted at least 23 years and this one has only lasted 9 years

The label on the back has IEC AC1-A

Pacific Insight Elec. shows as a still valid business. Perhaps a call to the great white north is in order. They do have a US center in Michigan.

Or maybe that big RV junkyard I have seen posts about.

The clock in our 98 320 is a trooper for sure and is surprisingly accurate like it's wired to the NIST WWV time standard. I hope it keeps on ticking (knock wood)

Here's the manual for mine.  Maybe it gives you something to go on.

Somewhere in the posts it was suggested that the clock circuit board suffers from cracked solder. Reflowing the lead at each solder point with a solder gun could fix it.

I looked at the board and nothing jumped out at me.  I will look again at the solder joints.
