Rear brakes parts sourcing

I was in the process of installing new tires when I realized one of my rear brakes needed some serious attention. It appear the passenger side rear was sticking as the outer pad is worn down and the inner looks near new. Rotor will need turning eventually, but for now will just do the pads and the sticking situation. I plan to go ahead and service both rears while doing the tires, but need to get the parts to fix the one that is sticking, namely the pads, I will probably go ahead and add the helper springs I see so many other do.  I dont see any obvious caliper, pin or bushing wear but would be nice to have all the part numbers for the common wear parts. What is the best way to source all these items? no doubt napa would probably have the parts.

The data plate on the rear axle is a Meritor model RS21145NFCF433

Your rotor # should be Meritor 3218K167 (verify to make sure)
Pads Kit 15625PM
Slide pins Kit 15016
Helper springs Kit 15018

Bushings should be OK but mic. as they can be reamed.

Slide pins are probably rusted where you can,t see them,for the money I would get a new rotor,check back about 9 weeks ago under posts from journey roam,explore,we rebuilt both rear calipers and changed one rotor.

Thanks guys, yes I have the 4m book. I just was not sure about all the parts numbers and if the numbers referenced in the 4m were the exact info.

Here's a question about greases.

In reference to this topic of Brakes, if you tear down, clean and rebuild the caliper, what type of grease is recommended for that section. Looking all through the 4m Manual, I see the following as it relates to this topic

Only use Meritor specification O-616-A or O-645 grease inside
the disc brake caliper. Do not use lithium-base grease,

What type of grease is the O-616-A or O-645 grease?? Is this a grease that can be had in a large tub or tube and if so a special order item or something that maybe Napa has?

Yes just found a post about a Mobile SLC32 IIRC.....sometimes getting the right search words helps. Sourcing some now, but was hoping it was something I could get at maybe a napa....but they dont list it.

Call FT and get the soft recall springs so they don't hang up and use the correct grease

As well as a few caliper rebuild kits, 15001. Each Caliper kit comes with what appears to be a pair of the Helper springs. If not will order them separate.  Found best deal on those on ebay.

Mike as I recall with Napa once you are dealing with there heavy duty equipment sales they pulled up the meritor part by its number.

If you intend on doing this yourself you will need the tool to disassemble and assemble the
Caliper,and you can download the step by step instructions.
Looks like that kit has the helper springs and the slide pin retaining nut and bolts.

On my coach all eight slide pins were pitted but this was only evident after they were pulled. I had the helper springs added when they were replaced.

Six of my eight pins were found to be significantly pitted when they pulled my brakes a year ago at MoT.

FYI.... and will update with a part number as soon as they arrive. At least in my part of the country NAPA does NOT have cross reference or offer a NAPA parts equivalent for Pads Kit 15625PM.

They were able to get with a local Volvo truck distributor and get me a complete axle set coming maybe in 4 days.

My original EBAY order was by a seller that was selling something they did not possess. When contacted about the fact after 6 days they still had not shipped they stated that the manufacturer was on unknown back order. Needless to say that order was canceled.
